MY. BARRENJOEY
 Barrenjoey is a 70ft steel ketch rigged motor-sailor
built to Lloyd's of London specifications, powered by a six cylinder 6LX
Gardner diesel engine giving her a speed of 7 knots. She has been
fitted to NSW 2C Survey, which means the NSW Maritime Authority has
recognized her as a charter vessel built and fitted to approved safety
standards to take passengers to sea. She has all required safety
equipment which includes: 16 man life-raft, lifejackets, flares, fire
fighting equipment ICOM 710 HF Radio, 406 Mhz EPIRB, Depth Sounder, GPS,
radar, an Iridium Satellite Phone available for personal use at an
extra cost, and an extensive medical kit.She has 7000 litres diesel and 6000 litres fresh water capacity, (giving the Barrenjoey a 1,500 nautical mile range). Also two auxiliary generators, a 26KVA and a 20KVA, supplying 240v AC, 24v DC and 12v DC. Accommodation is two double cabins forward and one dormitory style cabin in the aft for six people. All cabins are air-conditioned. The aft cabin has its own TV/DVD player. There is a spacious toilet and shower with hot and cold water, with an additional outdoor rinse off shower. The saloon is a roomy, air-conditioned entertaining area with TV/DVD, dinner seating for ten people, and a great place to escape the equatorial heat. There is a comprehensive library with a drinks fridge at hand. |
Included in your charter package is wholesome and healthy array
of Asian and Western foods, snacks, 30 cases of beer, soft drinks,
bottled water, use of all on board equipment, transfers to and from the
airport, harbor clearances and permits. If you have any special dietary
needs, please inform us beforehand so that we can cater accordingly. The Barrenjoey has 3 tender vessels.

MY. TENGIRRI is one of the strongest, safest, and fastest vessels operating in Indonesia. From our base in Padang we will have you surfing the morning after you arrive in Padang. To maximise surf time we try to do most of our travelling at night...but if conditions do change during the day we are able to quickly relocate you to a different spot.
Our captain's and guide's experience in the area is second to none, and using this experience we can virtually guarantee you waves every day. Even when you aren't surfing or fishing you will be relaxing in style and making the most of the boat's luxurious facilities.

Surf Banyak are pleased to announce that we are now taking bookings for a second boat for surf charters in the Banyak Islands. The Dream
can provide for groups of 7-10 passengers, providing the standards our
guests have come to expect on the Sjalina, and benefiting from our years
of experience in the region.
The Dream is a 26m boat with a 300HP Nissan V8 engine, cruising at up to 10 knots and fitted with a liferaft and all safety and navigation equipment. The Dream can sleep 7-10 passengers, in four twin bedrooms plus a VIP room with a king-size bed for couples, along with a four-person room with bunks. Both sleeping and living areas are air-conditioned, and there is a large second floor terrace where you can watch the waves. There are two bathrooms on board. For added entertainment you have a TV, DVD, and X-Box. Fishing, snorkelling and spearfishing equipment is also available. Your hosts Nico and Pierre are experienced French surfers who have spent many years in the region and built the boat themselves. They also cook excellent European cuisine, to complement meals from the Indonesian chef. Our agent Danny recently visited this boat and says “This is an awesomely comfortable boat – brand new fit-out and with great living areas. I expect to be upgrading the price once it’s better-known.”
Our inclusions and terms/conditions are the same as for the Sjalina – 10 surfing days / 11 nights ex-Sibolga, with all meals, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages included. We can also offer Boraspati’s transfer service from Medan to reduce any hassles in getting to Sibolga
KM. SJALINA
Surf Banyak’s tours on the Sjalina run provide 10 surfing days in the
Banyak Islands. If you come directly from overseas our ground agents
can meet you at Medan international airport and transfer you to your
internal flight to our port in Sibolga. That night, we cruise out to the
Banyaks where we have you surfing the morning after your arrival.
Sjalina is a 50ft motor yacht with twin 200HP Mitsubishi engines and usually accommodates 6 guests (not 8-10 like most) so you will get more waves in a friendly atmosphere on the Sjalina. Her cruising speed is 10 knots and she is fitted with all appropriate safety equipment including a satellite telephone allowing you to be in contact with your family, friends or business if necessary.
The Sjalina has sleeping quarters for 6 or 7 guests in bunk-style accommodation. Both sleeping and living areas are air-conditioned, though you will probably spend a lot of time on the back deck where you can watch the waves. There are shower, toilet and on-deck fresh water rinsing facilities to service your needs and keep you refreshed after each surf session. The Sjalina has a water-maker, which can provide 80 litres of fresh water per hour.
For added entertainment you have a TV, DVD, VCD player and plenty of films. There are also in cabin and on deck music systems to accommodate your IPOD or MP3 player so you can chill out to your favourite tunes. There is a Canon EOS 5D camera to capture quality pictures to take home and make all your friends envious of your surfing adventure. You will find plenty of snorkelling equipment, and custom made fishing rods to hook up that fish of a lifetime.
Our guests rave about the meals and snacks provided on board the Sjalina, with a range of Western and Indonesian style dishes including beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian cuisine. The fishing is amazing around the Banyaks so you might be the one catching dinner!
